
Rural Schools Program
Rural Schools Program is being run in 50 Government Schools in Jhunjhunu, Rajasthan, India to transform public school students into adept changemakers of the 21st century who do not rely on others to solve the challenges they are facing on both personal and community levels. The program is divided into 3 phases - teacher training workshop, set up of changemaker labs in schools and conduction of changemaker bootcamps for students.


Phase - 1 Training of Teachers
In this phase 150 teachers participated in a workshop that took teachers on a journey to experience the 3C Model of Changemaking so that they could replicate the same experience for their students in the school

Phase - 2 Setup of Changemaker Labs
In this phase of the program changemaker labs were set up in the school premises and changemaker guides were distributed to students.


Phase - 3 Changemaker Bootcamps
In this phase the teachers who attended the training workshop created a similar learning atmosphere in their respective rural public schools. Teachers facilitated the workshop imparting essential knowledge about the process of changemaking.
Way Forward
Students will now identify the problems in their community and work on them along with their teachers and volunteers from the community.
